Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use and contracting of services offered by Cusco Transporte, operating in the city of Cusco, Peru, identified with Business Name: GRUPO INKA MACHUPICCHU SRL and Tax ID (RUC) N. 20600692420. By contracting any of our services, the client declares to have read, understood, and fully accepted the conditions described herein.

Transportation Services

Cusco Transporte provides tourist and/or private transportation services within the city of Cusco and its surroundings, including urban transfers, nearby interprovincial transfers, as well as guided tours in private service, according to operational availability and conditions agreed upon at the time of booking.

All services are provided with authorized vehicles and properly licensed drivers.

Important: Contracted services will only be those confirmed in the reservation. Any service, activity, additional stop, extra time, or benefit not previously contracted and confirmed will not be included and may generate additional charges.

Reservations

2.1 Reservation Process

Reservations must be made in advance through official channels: WhatsApp, email, authorized social media, or in person. Service availability is subject to date, time, route, vehicle type, and number of passengers.

2.2 Reservation Confirmation

The reservation will be considered confirmed only after full payment of the service has been made and the corresponding confirmation has been sent by your executive, detailing the contracted service, date, time, pickup point, duration, and other applicable conditions.

2.3 Reservation Modification

Modification requests are subject to operational availability. Any change in date, time, route, or vehicle type will be evaluated and may generate additional charges. The modification will only be considered valid once officially confirmed.

Prices and Payments

3.1 Prices

Prices are primarily expressed in US dollars (USD). However, upon tourist request, payment may be made in Peruvian soles (PEN), applying the exchange rate in effect at the time of payment. Rates are fixed and correspond to those published on the official website or authorized channels at the time of booking. Once the service is confirmed, the price will not be subject to variations.

3.2 Payment Conditions

To confirm any service, the client must make full payment of the service. The company is not obligated to provide the service if payment has not been made in full within the indicated deadlines.

3.3 Additional Charges

Any additional cost not included in the initial quote will be assumed by the client. This may include: extra service hours, unscheduled waiting times, route changes, additional stops, special vehicle cleaning, or damage caused to the unit.

Cancellations and Refunds

4.1 Cancellation Policy

30 days in advance 80% refund
10 days in advance 70% refund
5 days in advance 50% refund
3 days in advance 30% refund
2 days in advance 20% refund
1 day in advance No refund

Important: Cancellations made on the same day of the service or client no-show will be considered NO SHOW, with no right to refund.

Refund percentages are applied considering operational planning, unit assignment, and personnel.

4.2 Refunds

Refunds will be made through the same payment method used by the client. The refund period is subject to administrative processes and the financial entities involved. The passenger assumes any commission or financial charge generated by the refund process.

Company Responsibility

Cusco Transporte is committed to providing the contracted services as confirmed in the reservation, respecting schedules, routes, and agreed conditions, using authorized vehicles and properly licensed personnel.

In case of situations beyond its control (traffic, weather conditions, road blockages, authority provisions, or other fortuitous events), the company will promptly inform the client and, if possible, provide a reasonable alternative according to availability.

Client Responsibility

The client agrees to arrive punctually at the agreed place, date, and time, maintain appropriate conduct during the service, and respect safety rules and driver instructions. Any delay or non-compliance by the client that affects service provision will be their sole responsibility.

Luggage

The client may transport their luggage and personal belongings inside the vehicle during the service, being able to leave them in the vehicle while touring, as long as they remain properly stored.

The company is committed to keeping the vehicle locked and under driver control during the service, providing reasonable care of transported luggage.

Recommendation: The client is responsible for not leaving high-value items (cash, jewelry, important documents) unattended. The company is not responsible for losses caused by client negligence, force majeure, or events beyond its control.

Jurisdiction

Any controversy, claim, complaint, or discrepancy that may arise between the client and Cusco Transporte will be resolved in accordance with the current laws of the Republic of Peru.

The parties expressly agree to submit to the jurisdiction and competence of the courts of the city of Cusco, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them due to present or future domicile.

By making a reservation with Cusco Transporte, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
