The 7 Lagoons of Ausangate is one of the most impressive natural routes in Cusco, located at the foothills of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain. This tour stands out for its lagoons of intense blue, turquoise, and green colors, surrounded by mountains, glaciers, and high Andean fauna. It is an ideal experience for nature lovers and hikers in high mountain landscapes.
The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, followed by a journey in tourist transport to the town of Pacchanta, traversing high Andean landscapes along the way.
From Pacchanta, we will begin our hike, gradually ascending to visit a series of lagoons of varying colors, including Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, Orqo Otorongo, and China Otorongo. Along the route, you will be able to appreciate natural mirrors of water, snow-capped mountains, and Andean fauna such as alpacas, llamas, birds, and viscachas.
After completing the hike, we will return to Pacchanta, where you will have time to relax in the local hot springs. Finally, we will begin our return journey to Cusco, arriving in the evening, depending on the progress of the tour.
