Cusco - Cusipata - Palcoyo - Stone Forest - Cusco
12-13 hours approximately 4,000 - 4,900 masl 3 km approximately (short hike)
The tour begins with pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. We'll then head south, traversing Andean landscapes and traditional villages. After approximately two and a half hours, we'll arrive in the Cusipata area, where we'll make a brief stop.
We'll continue our journey, passing through the town of Pitumarca before entering the Palcoyo area. Here, you can admire the colorful mountains and enjoy the breathtaking Andean scenery that surrounds them. You'll have free time to take photos and explore the area at your leisure.
Just a few minutes from the main area is the Stone Forest, a unique natural formation whose visit is optional.
After the visit, we'll begin our return to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon, depending on the tour's progress.
