Discover the South Valley of Cusco, an ideal cultural experience for those who wish to explore historical sites near the city. This tour combines Inca and pre-Inca architecture with colonial art, Andean landscapes, and traditional villages, offering a comfortable and flexible way to experience some of the most iconic places south of Cusco.
We will begin our tour by picking you up from your hotel and heading south of Cusco.
Our first stop will be Tipón, where you will have free time to explore this important archaeological complex, renowned for its stone irrigation canals, water fountains, and meticulously designed Inca terraces.
Afterward, we will continue to Pikillacta, a vast pre-Inca archaeological park characterized by its stone and mud constructions, straight streets, plazas, and rectangular enclosures, reflecting advanced urban planning.
Next, we will travel to the town of Andahuaylillas, where you can independently visit the Church of San Pedro, built in the 16th century and known as the "Sistine Chapel of the Americas," distinguished by its artistic murals and gold leaf decoration.
After the visits, we will begin our return to Cusco.
